What was that again?

We know how to crochet, I know exactly how to do a Double Crochet, a Single Crochet, and a Treble, but sometimes there is so much terminology floating around in my brain that when you abbreviate the terms, DC, SC, and TC. I have to take a second look and wonder what was that again? We all do it, at least I hope I'm not the only one, and it's fine! I wanted to put together a list of the most common abbreviations that I use in my patterns just for reference and it might just help if you're just starting to read patterns.

Also this is all in US terminology!

Abbreviations and their meanings.

CH – Chain

SC – Single Crochet

HDC – Half Double Crochet

DC – Double Crochet

BLO – Back Loops Only

FLO – Front Loops Only

DEC - Decrease

INC – Increase

* * - Repeat

M/C - Magic Circle

FHDC – Foundation Half Double Crochet

FDC - Foundation Double Crochet

FSC - Foundation Single Crochet

SC2TOG - This isn't something you will see in my patterns but I wanted to put it in just in case you were curious, it's just a DEC!
